Last updated: October 1, 2026

Wayward Therapy Foundation (“Wayward”) respects your privacy and aims to collect only the personal information we reasonably need to provide care, communicate with our community, and operate our programs.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with Wayward, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, program or service interests, registration information, and information you choose to provide through a contact form.

Please avoid including sensitive clinical or urgent information in general website contact forms.

Counselling and clinical services

Information related to counselling or other clinical services is handled separately from general website inquiries and is subject to additional privacy, consent, and record-keeping practices.

Where possible, clinical intake, consent forms, scheduling, and related communication are managed through our secure practice-management system rather than through the general Wayward website.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries;

  • schedule or provide services;

  • register participants for programs or events;

  • send updates you have asked to receive;

  • administer payments or registrations;

  • operate, improve, and protect our website and services; and

  • meet legal, professional, or regulatory requirements.

We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Wayward may use third-party service providers for functions such as website hosting, scheduling, forms, email communication, payment processing, and clinical practice management.

These providers may process information on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.

Website analytics and cookies

Our website may use cookies or basic analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and to help us improve it. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings.

Retention and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal or professional obligations.
